Installation of our traps is not rocket science. But starting yourself with operating outdoor mosquito traps can be a challenge. It might just take a bit more time than you anticipated. Positioning of the traps, getting high grade CO2, maintaining and cleaning mosquito traps; it all takes time and effort and mosquito control certainly takes dedication and persistence. Decreasing mosquito populations takes time. We also realize that many people become slack over time, it’s simply in the human nature. This may result in customers using expired attractants, having difficulties in sourcing high grade CO2, operating dirty traps that influence the airflow etc. This will lead to reduced customer satisfaction and disappointment with the number of mosquitoes being caught.
At Biogents SEA we therefore strongly recommend using the expertise of licensed pest control operators who are also able to execute the Integrated Mosquito Management steps.
How we select our Pest Control Operators (PCOs)
At Biogents we pride ourselves of having developed eco-friendly mosquito traps. This means that we only select PCOs that are willing to take a step into the future and like to move away from harmful ‘misting’, ‘fogging’ and ‘spraying’. These old fashioned tools not only create resistance against pesticides in mosquitoes, but many useful insects are killed in the process as well. Our PCOs can offer a variety of services depending on your wishes. You can buy our traps from them and operate the traps yourself, or you can buy or rent our traps from them with a regular service contract (recommended).
