The CO2 upgrade set for all our traps

Mosquito nuisance is often seasonal and at times their presence can be overwhelming. Although mosquitoes are present throughout the year in Southeast Asia, at times they reach peak levels and your BG-Mosquitaire or BG-Bowl needs extra ‘catch power’. There is no need to buy a new BG-MosquitaireCO2 for the reason that you can easily upgrade your BG-Mosquitaire or BG-Bowl. Our CO2 upgrade set enables you to add carbon dioxide to your trap and give it that extra boost to catch more mosquitoes. Not only will your catch rates increase but above all you will also be able to catch Culex mosquitoes.

Content of the CO2 upgrade set

First of all there is the ’emitter nozzle’. This is the antenna like device that releases the CO2 above the trap. Our traps have an insert in which the nozzle can be easily mounted. Also in the set you find 5 meters of CO2 tubing. The tubing makes the connection between the trap and the CO2 bottle. Finally there is the CO2 pressure regulator with which you can regulate the daily CO2 output. Carbon dioxide needs to be purchased separately and we highly recommend a high CO2 grade. Failing to buy a high CO2 grade (99.5% or higher) might result in blockage of the filters inside the pressure regulator. Blocked regulators will lead to CO2 losses through the safety valve.
